FISS WEEKEND 2010

FISS WEEKEND 2010 officially turned into IOTA WEEKEND! If you weren't in gainesville then you missed something that was a long time coming!

Here is a recap of the weekend..

Started Friday 2/19 on "The SET" with Reclaiming the Set! We were blessed to have some of our charter members come back to Gainesville to take part in the weekend's festivities. Greek life revived "The SET" if even for just one day. As all the underclassmen looked on from the top of the SET greeks from all over strolled, chanted and greeted each other like one big family reunion! Here are some pics of the event...

Next up was Fashion X-clusive 2010 co-hosted by our very own Chris "Justin Credible" Tait. Iota definitely came in to shut the game down! The event as a whole was great and really kicked the weekend off right! This event showcased some of the most beautiful women on the UF campus! Following are a few pics from the event...

After the show, the centaurs got back to work practicing for both the stroll off and step show. While everyone was out partying we were grinding for perfection! Saturday started off with "Greekfest" an event where greeks from all over come together to enjoy music, food and unity. During the event there was a DJ battle, singing competition and a NPHC stroll allowing the D9 Greeks on campus to compete against each other for a $250 prize. The competition was fierce but IOTAs and Deltas came OWt on top. Here are some pics and the videos of the winning teams...

At night was the Main Event...the Florida Invitational Step Show! The show started with and AMAZING intro put on by a member from each organization in the Divine Nine at UF. Our very own Sheldon "Quantum Solace" Vamper was our representative and this is his intro step...

Lets cut to the chase...IOTAs crushed the competition. The team that stepped was an alumni team comprised of Iotas from all over the state of Florida known as the Southside Centaurs! Here are some pictures from the night of celebration...

It was a great weekend and we appreciate all of the love and support! Here is some bonus practice footage of the winning stroll team!
