I-PHI Film Festival

The Gamma Omicron chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.® invites the students of UF to participate in the inaugural I‐Phi Film Festival. Students will be given the chance to showcase their creativity and talent by submitting original videos.

Videos will be submitted according to the following categories: best original video, best music video, best existing video on Facebook/Youtube, and best informational video.

All videos must be submitted by April 1,2009. The videos will be judged by the brothers of Iota Phi Theta® in a preliminary round, and the top three videos in each category will have the honor of being presented at I‐Phi Film Festival on Tuesday, April 7, where the winners will be selected by a panel of peers. A cash prize will be awarded to the winners of each category.

Categories

Best Original Video: A generalized video of any theme or purpose

Best Music Video: Video with an accompaniment of music or sound. Original or existing lyrics are acceptable.

Best Existing Video: Video has already been posted and viewed on Facebook® or Youtube® prior to the event

Best Informative Video: Video intended to educate or inform the audience on a specific topic or issue.

Rules and Regulations

1.) All movies must be no longer than 5 minutes.
2.) Videos can be submitted in any format (e.g. MPEG,MPEG‐4,dot.mov,quicktime)
3.) All video submissions and registration forms must be completed and submitted to gocentaurs@yahoo.com
4.) Videos and registration must be received by April 1, 2009, 5:00 PM EST
5.) The 3 finalists of each category will be notified by email and the videos will be presented
on April 7, 2009 at the I‐Phi Film Festival.
6.) Multiple video submissions are accepted
7.) A person or team may enter in multiple categories
8.) By participating in this competition, you agree not to submit, upload or post any video that:
Libels, defames, invades privacy, is abusive, profane, threatening, infringes on any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity, or violates any law.
9.) All entries must be original, unpublished, and created solely by the submitting entrant(s) and must not have been submitted in any other competition.
